Riverstone is a tense psychological thriller set during a period of political unrest, following three police officers escorting a young political prisoner, Nanditha, to a remote location for what's meant to be a quiet, off-the-books execution. Most of the story unfolds inside a police van, where what starts as a routine transfer slowly turns into something far more personal, as the men are forced to confront their own conscience along the way. Set against a misty mountain journey, the film builds toward a heavy moral dilemma none of them can avoid. It's a gripping, thought-provoking drama about duty, guilt, and human connection under impossible circumstances.
